Here at The Pet Hotel we currently have 6 resident cockatiels. Terry and June decided we obviously had everything they required to bring up a family so went ahead and did just that. Nine baby cockatiels have been successfully reared and rehomed from here and we are hoping that June decides her family of 6 is quite enough, thank you very much.

All birds are welcome here. And over the years we have had an enormous variety from finches to parrots. Without doubt Jasper, a fifty-year-old blue and gold macaw is our favourite. He is quite happy to walk about the carpets in his room, is very nosy and squawks if you are even a second late with his breakfast. We are truly blessed to have such amazing, wonderful creatures come to live with us for a few weeks every year! They say some birds have a brain as well developed as a 3-year-old toddler. With a magnificent species like Jasper, I’d say more like 13!

All our bird guest must arrive with his or her own cages. We have found that familiar surrounding in times of stress (i.e. car travel) is likely to settle them even quicker.
We can arrange a pick up and delivery service for an extra charge as we are aware not every one has a car big enough o accommodate something as large as a parrot cage.

All our bird guests can have access to our indoor aviary with your permission and stretch their wings in a safe and secure environment.
As with all our hotel guest we would ask that you supply the dry food for the duration of your pets stay and we will supply all the fresh.
